President Muhammadu Buhari declared Open the 58th Annual General Conference…
We do not know about you, but today’s drama in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital is something that the best scriptwriters in Nollywood, Bollywood and Hollywood combined might not be able to come-up with.
It started with the blockade of the National Assembly by masked gunmen suspected to be operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS), we have had the sacking of the Director General of the service, Lawal Daura by the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo.
However, we have not heard or seen much from the man in the proverbial eye of the storm, Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
It turns out he plans to address a ‘world press conference’ tomorrow according to one of his aides, Bamikole Banks Omisore, his Special Assistant, International Relations who tweeted:
“President of Senate @bukolasaraki to hold a world press conference tomorrow at 12 noon.”
We are looking forward to what he has to say about today’s dramatic events that are still unfolding.
