Saraki and Ekweremadu visit Female Sergeant-at-Arms Officer battered During Mace-theft Invasion

Following the recent invasion of the Senate and stealing of its mace, a female Sergeant-at-Arms officer, Mrs. Sandra Davou who got injured with a factured leg and bruises during the confrontation has been visited by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Senator Ike Ekweremadu at her home in Abuja.

The Senate’s official Twitter handle tweeted yesterday:

“The President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, just left the home of Mrs. Sandra Davou, the brave female Sergeant-at-Arms Officer who was assaulted and injured in Wednesday’s invasion of the Senate Chambers.”

 

Saraki advised Davou to take all the time she needs to recuperate and avoid the temptation to hurry back to work.
