Acids are ionic compounds with a positive or negative charge. Generally the taste of acids is sour and it can be in any form gases, liquids and solids. Acids strongly react with metals and other good conductor of electricity. Some corrosive types of acids are strong in acidic power, which are dangerous or unsafe, it may cause burn in just physical touch.
