All You Need to Know About Ekpe Udoh, New NBA Star of Nigerian Origin

Many of you might not have heard about Ekpe Udoh but the Utah Jazz just signed the young American center who has Nigerian heritage born to Nigerian parents, Sam and Alice Udoh.

After a 3 years of college basketball at Michigan and Baylor, he was drafted by NBA current champions, Golden State Warriors in 2010, after 2 years of very little progress, he moved to the  Milwaukee Bucks and by 2014 he signed for Los Angeles Clippers. He became a journeyman of sorts moving to Israel for while before moving to Turkish Giants  Fenerbahçe in 2016 to play in the EuroLeague. His career really took-off in Turkey as he and his team got to the EuroLeague final in 2016 only to be defeated 96–101 in overtime by CSKA Moscow. The team won the Turkish league though.

In the 2016/2017 season, Fenerbahçe bounced back to win the EuroLeague title with Udoh named the Final Four MVP. You can watch a review of his performance next:
