Radio Continental Relaunches as MAX 102.3 Fm Lagos

One of the leading radio stations in Lagos, Radio Continental 102.3 fm just relaunched as MAX 102.3 fm on the same frequency . The relaunch was done at a glitzy ceremony held tonight at the Federal Palace Hotel, Balmoral Convention Centre Victoria Island.

There had been speculation that the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) had withdrawn the licence of Radio Continental including comments by former Minister of Aviation and PDP member Femi Fani-Kayode suggesting that the Buhari-government is getting back at Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is believed to own the radio station as part of TVC Communications group which also includes the TVC, TVC News and Adaba fm Akure. Tonight’s event would prove such negative speculation as unfounded.

The station will now focus more on Music  and has added former Brila fm OAP Murphy Ijemba to its stable which includes the likes of Wale PowPowPow, Honeypot,  Lady ‘O’ Mary, Debbie and Mark ‘DSoulja.

You can listen to and interact with the station via its website Max1023.fm
