There is trouble brewing at PSG between Neymar and Edinson Cavani over who takes penalties and free kicks. This became obvious yesterday in the game against Lyon which they won 2-0 courtesy of two own-goals by the visitors. Dani Alves refused to give the ball to Cavani for a free kick until Neymar was available to collect the ball. Later in the second half when PSG had a penalty, Neymar requested Cavani to allow him take it but the Uruguayan refused, taking the penalty himself, only for the Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes to save.

Unai Emery was asked about this and said: “I have told them to sort it out between themselves,” the coach said, according to Jonathan Johnson of ESPN FC. “I think that they are capable of doing that and that they will both be our kickers. If they cannot reach an agreement, I will decide for them. I do not want this to become a problem for us.”
