Sir Alex Ferguson in Intensive Care after Successful Surgery

Manchester United legend, Sir Alex Ferguson who won 38 trophies in 26
years in charge as Manager was rushed into emergency surgery yesterday.

Manchester United stated:

“Sir Alex Ferguson has undergone surgery today for a brain haemorrhage. The procedure has gone very well but he needs a period of intensive care to aid
his recovery. His family request privacy in this matter. Everyone at Manchester United sends our very best wishes.”

Many people in the football world have been sending messages of support for Ferguson who is regarded as one of the greatest managers in the game.

Former Chelsea star,  Didier Drogba tweeted: “Deep thoughts and best wishes Sir Alex Ferguson ��”.

Former Manchester United player,  Ruud van Nistelrooy tweeted: “Hoping and praying for a full recovery.. Keep fighting Boss, you’ve always done. �� #SirAlexFerguson”.
