Bring back my Father Christmas

It is good to live a life of innocence, a life without any responsibility; where in fact you are everybody’s responsibility. Many years back when yours truly was still an innocent little boy, like most of his mates, what mattered most at this season was the fantasy that comes with Christmas.

Big Brother Africa, Tayo Faniran and the lessons we learnt

A lot of people who consider themselves ‘serious minded’ claim that they do not watch Big Brother Africa as it is a waste of time; promotes immorality; and does not teach anything. This is the view I gleaned from the responses to the essays I have written on Big Brother Africa over the years. Yet, I am serious minded enough to continue to watch and to an extent, be fanatic about the show.

Are we entertainers socially irresponsible?

I got a call on Wednesday morning from one of our popular female artistes asking if she could be a guest on my radio show to promote her new album that is meant for release this month. I said, “Why not? It will be my privilege to have you on my show.”
