Best Friends Forever: Buhari and Obasanjo Exchange Pleasantries at AU Summit
While some of their supporters are busy fighting online battles, President Muhammadu Buhari and former President Olusegun Obasanjo have been spotted exchanging pleasantries at the African Union summit in Addis Ababa.
This follows a letter written by former President Obasanjo among other things asking President Buhari not to run for a 2nd term. The federal government has also reacted to the letter with a press statement released by Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
Also present at the summit is Nigeria’s former Head of State, Alhaji Abdulsalami Abubakar
The new pictures were released via the President’s Twitter handle @Mbuhari:

This should be a lesson to their followers that we do not have to be disagreeable to disagree.
