Abstract: Difficult students can be dealt withby applying different modalities which willenable teachers to handle them and promotes wellbeing of difficult students.
Content:Every individual is a separate entity and is different from others; it is referred to as individual differences. Individual differences make each individual a unique and distinct being. Students are also categorized in different categories, some students are easy going and some are difficult to deal with. Teachers like easy going and those students who listen to them carefully and who are cooperative with their peer groups. On the other hand, difficult students are seen, who do not cooperative with their peer group and teachersare also not happy due to their behavior. Difficult students do not care about their teachers and others. Some of the rules are discussed here, which could be utilized in enhancing positive attributes in difficult students.
- Students‚Äô Portfolios
Each student‚Äôs portfolio should be made and rated monthly or weekly on different scales; such as discussion in classroom, behavior in classroom, academic performance, and extracurricular activities and reviews on overall performance.
- Parents/Teachers‚Äô Meeting

- Avoid Criticism

Activities like helping each other in projects should be carefully devised by teachers in order to enhance the positive traits in students as such kinds of group activities are helpful, because students want to score well and it also boosts up the sense of belongingness. Such activities also promote peace and brotherhood among students with different socio-economic backgrounds, ethnicities and races, respectively.
The seven rules discussed here are easy to apply in school settings. Parents can also help teachers about giving a detailed history of difficult student. Teachers should supervise each student separately and give feedback where necessary in a mild and pleasant way so that the student does not feeloffended. Difficult students can be dealt with care and teachers should avoid negative remarks in front of others. Teachers can play a part in developing insights in difficult students about their behavior.
