The wife of the president, Aisha Buhari is very vocal as many Nigerians have found out since the coming to power of her husband in 2015, she has not shied away from speaking about issues she is passionate about.
This time around, she has joined the debate over the impending sack of 22,000 teachers in Kaduna state that the government of governor Nasir El-Rufai says failed an aptitude test that was a replica of Primary 4 examination for pupils they are meant to teach.
Mrs. Buhari posted a video of her husband speaking in support of Governor’s El-Rufai’s stand on the sack of the teachers at the special retreat of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on education with this comment: “Thank you for not politicizing the future of our children and that of the next generation”.
This is bound to bring some criticism from those that are against the teacher’s sack and praise from those who support the governor’s position on this matter.
